Honko Hotel Planning & Design Consultants (Honko Design) is led by Mr. Chao-Liang Lu, an architect who has been well experienced in designing international hotels for over 20 years. Mr. Lu once served as the Chief Architect at the hotel-developing department of SAISON group in Tokyo, Japan. SAISON has even expanded its business throughout Japan and overseas as well after acquiring Inter Continental Hotels in 1988.

Being invited back to Taiwan in 1997, Mr. Lu participated in some constructions of internationally famous hotels. Through the experience in Taiwan, Mr. Lu realized that improper hotel-planning in the very beginning leads to the inefficiency of hotel operating; of course, part reform causes more trouble. And that’s the headache of many hotel owners in every place. Knowing the diversity and complexity of modern hotels, well-experienced Mr. Lu has then decided to establish the company- Honko Hotel Planning & Design Consultants, He would like to help those who come to Honko to run their hotels successfully.
